Tanah Lot is the one of Bali’s tourism icon that very famous. If you visit Bali, it was not enough if you do not go to Tanah Lot. Tanah Lot located in Beraban village, Tabanan. Now the entrance fee at the Tanah Lot has gone up.
Pura Luhur Tanah Lot was built about VXI century by Dang Hyang Nirartha, a Hindu Siwa’s pastor from Java. Pura that located above rocks in the middle of Indonesian Ocean is the only one in Bali, very beautiful.
From parking location, we must walk to the location of Pura at the beach. Don’t forget to buy entrance ticket to in. From checking tickets, turn right and follow the road there. Along the way, you will find souvenir shops were lined up ranging from who sells t-shirts, robe, beach cloth

Did you know stork? At Petulu Village Ubud, there are sets of storks. Stork or Kokokan bird in Balinese language, are lives at trees of Petulu Village in peace and safe from disturbance.
At Petulu Village, there a lot of changes. Rice field along the way of the Petulu village has become the houses of villagers and barn wood cutting. But the Kokokan bird still many, even more than 13 years ago. Want to know the story about Kokokan bird presence at Petulu village?
Kokokan bird begin nesting at Petulu village since 1965. At first, these Kokokan bird are captured to be eaten or to be maintained, hence the oddity occurred. The people those who catch these Kokokan bird always come back to the village and return it. They said that they unable again. Why?

Today I went to Serangan Island. Although i live in Bali for five years, it is my first time to the island where there are turtle that are conserved. So, I am interested to know what kind of turtle there. I went there with my friends. Although I’m didn’t remember the location details, I remember a few things that concerned with the turtle conservation.
Turtle can live up to hundreds years old. To be actively reproducing, turtle must be aged at least 30 years, it is long enough to breed. And the hardest one, to get married, turtle must be on

Rabies in Bali is a problem that could haunt people of Bali. Dozens of victims who died is a silent witness of this mad dog virus virulence. Is the island of Bali which is famous for the natural beauty of this tour must be defeated by the rabies virus?

The word “Galungan” comes from Old Javanese language, which means win or fight. Galungan also synonymous with Dungulan, which also means victory. Therefore in Java, called his eleventh Wuku Wuku Galungan, while in Bali the eleventh Wuku called Wuku Dungulan. His name is different, but it means the same thing. Just as in Java in the details there as Legi pancawara while in Bali called Umanis, which means the same: sweet.
Kinda hard to make sure how the origins of this Galungan. When was actually celebrated Galungan first time in Indonesia, especially in Java and in other areas, especially in Bali.

Today, March, 16 2010 the balinese paraded ogoh-ogoh which is an annual tradition, the day before Nyepi.
At about six o’clock in the afternoon, the streets began bustling with pedestrians. The atmosphere became very exciting, even the traffic lights are not active.
Just as I promised, I will immortalize ogoh-ogoh in the form of photographs. Not only in photographs, I also record it with my camera digital.

Nyepi in 2010 would celebrated on March 16. As a routine annual ritual held by residents of Bali in each year. Ritual procession will be rang by ogoh-ogoh nyepi just a day before, it is a main attraction on this Dewata island.

In Bali island there is an annual ritual. Ritual in the island of the gods of this dark and so quiet. Nyepi is the name of that ritual. Do you know what is Nyepi?
Nyepi is a Balinese “Day of Silence” that falls on Bali’s Lunar New Year. It is a day of silence, fasting, and meditation. The day following Nyepi is also celebrated as New year Gudi Padva in Maharashtra and Ugadi in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in India.
Observed from 6 a.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning, Nyepi is a day reserved for self-reflection and as such, anything that might interfere with that purpose is restricted. The main restrictions are:
